Chandi Path: One complete recitation of the 13-chapter Devi Mahatmyam (700 verses), along with the preamble texts (Devi Kavach, Argala, Kilak, Navarna Jaap). This is a complete, powerful ceremony that takes approximately 4–5 hours.
Nav Chandi (Nine Chandis): Nine complete recitations of the Devi Mahatmyam, performed by 3–5 Pandits over the course of one full day. The nine-fold recitation is associated with the nine forms of the Divine Mother (Navadurga) and creates nine times the spiritual merit and energetic impact.
Both are effective, but Nav Chandi is specifically prescribed for situations requiring extraordinary divine power, court cases nearing verdict, severe black magic attacks, business crises, or as the central ritual of a major Navratri celebration.

Navarna Mantra Jaap: 108–1,008 recitations of the Navarna Mantra ("Om Aim Hreem Kleem Chamundaye Vichche") to energize the space.
Devi Kavach, Argala, and Kilak: These three preamble texts, specifically the Devi Kavach (armor of the Goddess), create a protective field for both the performers and the beneficiary.
Complete Devi Mahatmyam Recitation (x1 or x9): All 13 chapters are recited in sequence, with appropriate Nyasa (ritual hand gestures) at each chapter's beginning. For Nav Chandi, all 9 rounds are completed in sequence by the team of Pandits.
Havan (Chandi Homa): A grand Havan follows the recitation. For each complete Chandi, 700 Ahutis are offered, one for each verse. For Nav Chandi, 6,300 Ahutis are offered total, creating one of the most powerful fire ceremonies available in home settings.
Kanya Puja: Nine young girls representing the nine forms of Durga are worshipped with flower garlands, offered food, and given the Dakshina (gift).
Aarti and Visarjan: A grand Devi Aarti concludes the ceremony.
